The On-line Journal Modelling the New Europe represents the best way of disseminating the results of the project at a national and international level. The call for papers is opened to every MA or PhD student, young researchers, academic staff interested to promote researches and present different perspectives on the EU. The papers should address subjects concerning the actual state of the EU after the Lisbon Treaty, the economic and Euro crisis, the future of the EU and any other subjects related to the " New Europe", including book reviews. The Faculty of European Studies, Jean Monnet Ad Personam Chair - Modelling the New Europe announces the public opening of the European Center for Regional Policy. The Center is dedicated to making accessible to the public the DG Regio Archive donated by the European Commission in 2011. All the documents are available on micro cards and they can be accessed using the appropriate technology - two high-tech fully functional electronic reader. The archive addresses the period 1952-2000 and comprises documents concerning the regional policy of the EU - declassified acts, reports, minutes, articles, issues of the Official Journal of the European Communities in all its official languages. The event will take place Wednesday, 9 May 2012, 13:00pm, at the Faculty of European Studies (1, Em. de Martonne St.).
